Get rid of the headset microphone - it never sounds as good as the hand held.  Look at BTW performance on the Monster Ball DVD for evidence.

This. This so much. How good her voice sounds is 10000x more important than dancing, imo

As much as I love the BTW era, I agree with this. I think she definitely improved her singing by that time (her acoustic and not-dance-heavy performances really blew many of her peers out of the water), but it didn't show as much because of such strenuous choreography (BTW and MTN being good exceptions).

If there's anything I wouldn't mind back from The Fame era, it's the ambiguity, suspense, and execution (along with lack of heavy choreography) of such performances like this:

Otherwise, she's doing great and she should keep doing what she's doing.

she had plenty of performances in the btw era that werent choreography heavy, just about every performance she ever did of marry the night wasn't choreo heavy. the problem was they just sucked.

to me with the btw era it wasnt the choreography it was just the costumes and the concepts that were all out of wack. her choreo and outfit here is pretty spot on imo

idk her judas choreo was never bad to me

Her Judas number in the born this way ball was just awkward between her location and outfit. Besides that I love the choreography. And I have never been a fan of the head mic. I hope she does away with that but I have my doubts. If I was her I'd probably dance a lot too and want my hands free.

Can't the past simply..stay in the past?

Why not just appreciate those aspects of The Fame for what they were instead of putting down other tours for being different?

Every tour is going to be different, and that's how it should be.

She won't be making dance music forever, so we should enjoy her choreography while it lasts
