Helxig 45,979
I'm sorry, 50 MILLION? Already? People with no moral compass are already flocking to ty and make some quick cash. Sad that these scum infiltrating a creative space that is set aside for one of humanities most core forms of expression I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Sad that these scum infiltrating a creative space that is set aside for one of humanities most core forms of expression It’s been happening for years slowly sadly. Non creative people judge creative people and art by how profitable and commercialised it can be. Even look at famous artists, their art is worth more when they’re dead, And nobody respects living artists UNLESS they’re making money. Shakespeare wasn’t Shakespeare until 15 years after her died even after hundreds of plays being put on for instance. A big example I always think about in my own life is, my father has never asked my brother who wanted to work in construction when he was younger whether he would get a job in it and never saw it as a hobby until he started working in it; whereas that’s exactly what happened with me. Never took me seriously about it until I had a job doing it, always used to tell me “maybe you should get a REAL job.”

They've lost what it means to be human entirely I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

They've lost what it means to be human entirely I think it’s because we’re in a very capitalist society where people sell anything for a profit, whether it’s art or their bodies or their used underwear. People use money as a value for everything.

Yeah it's like some of the people here who can't even explain if they genuinely enjoy Gaga's music unless they it's charting well or she's at a career high. It just baffles my mind. Art is supposed to make you feel something, you're supposed to instinctually know if you enjoy it or not, but some people can't even do that. They have to look at it's commercial value to decide if it's 'worth' them liking it or not. Those people need to do some soul searching and get in touch with their sense of self I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. A lot of people on here don't seem to even like HER anymore. I’ve personally stopped caring about her sales, I don’t even go into the charts thread on here really. I acknowledge her achievements but my favourite albums are some of her least successful and most disliked albums on here.
