Japan now has 100,000 centnarians (people aged 100 or older) from just 153 when it began tracking it in 1960s

 

Japan has one of the highest life expectancies in the world but also one of the most aged. Currently some 1/3 of the population (about 40M people) are receiving some sort of pension benefit which is currently a strain to fianance

This is wild. What is it about Japan that makes people live so long? Is it their genetics? Diet? Most young people there are stressed as hell.
