Yeah, two things can be true at once. Fanbases don't care about Palestine and they're using Gaga's silence to attack her.

Gaga, however, should not be silent. And she deserves the backlash :koons:

I would agree most fanbases don't care. People still commenting and supporting P!nk even after the gross comments she made recently just to get Macklemore canceled. And we see the same thing happening with Nickj Minaj after she made it clear where she stood politically.

I agree Gaga's silence is concerning because many comments are saying this is another example of her always being a performative artist. I do find it interesting at times how fanbases go after her when some of their faves haven't said anything. Sticking to big name acts, I don't believe I have seen once where Beyonce or even Taylor Swift condemned what was happening. And I could be wrong here but I always find it fascinating that for whatever reason people seem to hold Gaga to an even higher standard than most of her peers.

I agree. It can happen both ways, some madges and katykats using this to drag gaga but at this point is best for gaga to say something otherwise she'll end up link p!nk and it's so good seeing her good rep lately. not to mention of course its the right thing to do.

Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

Are you sure it's for whatever reason? Really? It's Gaga we're taking about here. She has a public image of a human rights' activist who always called for freedom and equality. But I guess Palestinians are humans to her, anyway.
