Like I feel like if you went full blown rocker or even like a full blown sophie it would hit so much harder. The end of the song even feels like a taste of the rocker vibes. BP feels very paint-by-numbers dance pop with very little to show for it (verses are clunky, bass lead isn’t memorable enough to warrant the title, and the chorus feels like an aggregate of a million choruses we’ve heard before in synth/dance pop), whereas I think the grinding beat, the groove of the hook/melody, and the genuine sexual energy/tension in the song creates something way more fun/dynamic to dance/listen to.
