Plus it is constitutionally recognized as illegal to do that. Will it stop him from saying it? No, because he doesn't care about illegal stuff as evidenced by his laundry list of actions. The Houthis now exercise full control of the southern entrance to the Red Sea. They have claimed that they only intend on stopping Saudi Arabian shipping.

EDIT: Saudi Arabia shut down the pipeline because of an attack coming from Iraq, not due to the Houthis.

I think other than EVs the tech for things like heavier vehicles (trucks), airplanes and cargo boats has limitations or extremely expensive

 

Clean energy also doesnt replace pretroleum based products

 

The biggest thing we can replace to any meaningful degree is personal vehiles to go fully EV. Beyond that not sure what what else we cut out oil in large scale right nos
