Yep but I also means producers, mixers, and technical things, and big studios with bigger material. There's also specifical studios for mastering. There's everything in LA or NY let's be honest. 

She did a lot of stuff like writing and small stuff at her house for MAYHEM but she basically made the album at Shangri-La studio

I mean LA is not that far away anyway

And let’s be real- she did things promotional during the Mayhem era that she had never done before. Cheap stuff. Like tagging on DWAS when it so obviously was not part of Mayhem. I see people who are critical of their relationship say stuff like this a lot but Gaga already cared about making money before Michael came into her life (*cough* Haus Labs) maybe you could argue he influenced her to a degree but she already was business minded and cared about money before him, I don't think he is controlling her to care about money she is her own person after all.

Solid point … to be fair, they did just hard launch OuterBio, so that‘s definitely his priority at this stage, maybe a pendulum swing in the partnership after completing the Mayhem campaign … so, it makes more sense for him to anchor them in Silicon Valley / The Bay, if only for ease of access to their investor network—probably much easier to host biotech / AI VC fundraisers in Marin County than her place in Malibu

Music-wise, he did retrofit his Malibu house office into a music studio for her Mayhem production to keep everything local; and his creative M.O. for her seems to be isolation for inspiration, or maintaining that distance from her core creative community, at least from what she expressed with The Times … so maybe he‘s just capitalizing off of her “fear” of that isolation as creative fuel for their collaborative endeavors moving forward, since it seemed commercially effective with the Mayhem campaign / business partnership?

She was thanking Bradley and Bloodpop during ASIB and Chromatica like she was contractually obliged to so this is not something new.
