Can a nepo baby “success” like Stella Lefty sustain a career

People often conflate Nepo Babies with having connections and privilege. I don’t know anything about this person, but unless her family are involved in the music industry, she by definition isn’t a nepo baby. 

Liza Minelli for instance was a nepo baby. Because her nepotism from her mother as a well established musician, actress and connections in the music industry — actively helped her in the exact same industries. Often nepotism only applies to the same industry, such as actors who’s parents were actors, musicians who’s parents were musicians.

Not really if your parent was say in tech and you became a musician, because otherwise Gaga would be by definition a nepo baby.

for my answer, it depends.  some nepo babies can have careers, but like @gagzus said, typically only if it's in the same industry.

technically, ilia is a nepo baby because both of his parents (roman skorniakov and tatyana malinina) are very successful figure skaters that made it to the olympics twice.  yes, he has the skill and the talent, but he was technically born into it.

Miley, Drew Barrymore, Angelina Jolie, Lilly Allen, even Norah Jones, Jamie Lee Curtis are nepo babies and it's only a few I had in my mind.

The amount of actors and artists who were discovered by their talent and not by the families is very little after all.

I mean, tbf, a lot of the people you mentioned are at least talented and weren’t entirely astroturfed by their parents lol
