Yeah I mean this makes sense. The tours look pretty good so I imagine a world where it’s like an early Gaga scenario. Especially bc putting in early in your blow up can help expand your fanbase while you have a spotlight on you. All makes sense to me tbh

It’s poor taste to say things like this when 99% of people are getting poorer and poorer and the cost of being alive is sky rocketing. How are we supposed to care about her as a rich famous pop star whilst the rest of us are steps away from homelessness

Except that's not at all what she meant. She isn't complaining or fishing for pity, she's explaining that even though keeping ticket prices low is a priority for her, it's hard to do, because shows are expensive to produce and there's very little margin to cut. She's saying she's trying to strike a balance between affordability and production value, and that her part of the cut is the first thing she's willing to sacrifice. It's just the factual reality of touring as a smaller artist, not a call for pity?

It makes sense given her average size excluding tiktok blowup which needs time to be proven as sticky/stable. 

I remember a BBNO$ discussion about touring as an independent and he was saying that on average, its impossible to break even in venues below 2,000 capacity. And he isn't touring a massive production.

I mean it’s understandable. She’s getting big right now, but it’s not like she’s in a Gaga/Beyoncé/Madonna level. Of course, she’s not going to make money touring. Putting on a SHOW cost a lot of money. 

I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but it makes me understand the white guy with guitar alone at stage touring, they save a lot of money giving nothing.
