Anyone else biting their nails to see the outcome between Dr. Daddy El-Sayed and Haley "Israel Comes To Me In My Dreams" Stevens?

Despite upwards of $50 MILLION being spent on a Democratic primary by the Israeli lobby to prop up ol' Clench-Jaw Stevens, El-Sayed is leading in nearly all recent polls and he's the expected winner BUT nothing is set in stone until those votes are counted.

There are also down ballot races in Michigan and the same races happening in Virginia and Kansas tonight too.

The last thing I need is more anxiety  

I'm gonna say his win in 2022 was worse mostly because we had an unpopular Democratic administration in power but also just 'cause Schumer himself is DEEPLY unpopular. 

Democrats have a brand problem but we excell in having great candidates like Mamdani, El-Sayed, Talarico, etc.

My hope is we can right the ship by having the progressive wing take over to actually do the work voters wanna see.

Michigan polls are now closed (other than four counties who are in central time for some reason)  

They can't call the race until 9pm at the earliest (in an hour).

El-Sayed is unelectable. He’ll lose in November. Moderates and indies in Michigan won’t vote for someone who campaigned with Hasan ‘America deserved 9/11’ Piker. 

He made the entire race about Israel. That works well with the Palestine-first far-left wing of the party, but it won’t work in a general. Hopefully that will stop the DSA takeover of the Democratic Party and Dems will start listening to black voters, the base of the party, again.

Also, hilarious to make an electability argument when $50 million+ was spent against him and he's currently winning places that she's supposed to be winning  

Absentee ballots were expected to go to Stevens by a huge margin since it's largely black and older voters but funny how she's currently 16pts behind him

This is a misconception regarding being moderate/independent. It does not mean that progressive ideas never appeal to you and therefore you reject anyone who is not centrist. After all, many of those moderates and indies voted Trump back in to office and he's as far right as it gets in America.

Economic populism is where the left has found its stride and is making plenty of inroads. The same is transpiring in Wisconsin's governor's race - Francesca will be the nominee and she will win the general if she stays true to her message and doesn't attempt to pivot to to the moderate voters looking for moderation, when they aren't looking for that - they're looking for action

I expected a tighter race, and I still think once those northern counties are all in it will tighten up a bit, but he is dominating her right now by nearly 20pts and she was expected to be ahead right now

Francesca is collapsing and bound to lose the general election. Unfortunately, by nominating these far-left/DSA candidates, the Democratic Party is alienating its two most loyal members, Black and Jewish Americans.
