I was also into her when I was 15, and admittedly my interest lasted longer than with Porcelain. 

The thing with Natalia/Teddy/Powder/Cruel is that she can't write a hook well - the choruses on Perfectionist are just the title repeated over and over again, which kills what otherwise would be a great song

And I'm so glad the demand for "dark pop" has diminished. If anything we have The Weeknd and Dua to thank for the 2020s nu-disco boom that put quality synth and electropop back on the charts

There are some artists that do decent/good work with darker synth pop (Allie X is pretty good on that front), but yeah, thank god the try hard Hot Topic coded “dark pop” era is over lmao

Her "unreleased" bops are so good!!! She deserved the success Iggy Azalea got, I group them with Natalia, Azealia, Grimes, and even Charli XCX of that era. Charli is the only one who really made it out but they were all queens
