Eh, I’d say that the Bowie era at least had some connection to the work he made and was clearly never a reflection of his real world politics. Bowie had some questionable viewpoints throughout his career pertaining to race along with his ped*philic tendencies that was mentioned here earlier as well. He also disavowed his comments I referenced as a result of him being on drugs and out of his mind. All instances are gross and none are to be taken lightly; I just wonder if there's a difference worthy of distinction and whether we need to be calling for another boycott of a fundraiser for this. I genuinely don't know at the moment. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

I genuinely don't know at the moment. I think the distinction I'd personally make is the living/dead comparison. An exhibition at the Met alongside the Gala for Bowie, isn't something he can benefit from in any way. Galliano, by comparison, is in a position to actively benefit from any potential rehabilitation of his image. That being said, he has the support of the Zionist ADL so I doubt there's any risk of the actual establishment boycotting the Met Gala. Mars 2,661
There no denying Gallianos talent and influence. At least he got clean and rehabilitated himself and his image, there are plenty of other so called icons running around who have not.
