Recency bias hits every single Gaga album, this isn’t out of the ordinary. Chromatica is a great piece in Gaga’s discography, it shows Gaga can do a concise, cohesive album. It’s exactly what Monsters needed at the time, and without it we would never get Mayhem. Give it a few years and it will be praised again

And let it be a form of flattery that Madonna stans can’t get Gaga out of their head.

The only place I've found that is on Twitter and Facebook and it was like 2 posts, but that's how those places are lol, I also saw Gaga fans mocking Danceteria for "copying" gagas song, but I can find several songs that sound similar as well, it's a dumb argument that doesn't matter.

I don't defend or engage with that because it's just stupid stan wars by a small fringe portion of both fan bases.

I haven’t seen or heard any backlash at all relating to Confessions 2. And I’ve certainly never heard anyone specifically bring Chromatica into the chat. I think people are just celebrating a great album. And I still love Chromatica.

The more attention you give to it the more it balloons. Leave miserable people to be miserable. You don’t have to be miserable with them.

Get out of stan spaces. I’m serious, just completely remove yourself from stan environments. Once you realize that people doing stan war stuff in the big year of 2026 are some of the biggest losers on the planet and get away frkm them, you’ll find yourself a lot happier.

Genuinely havent seen any of this happening. Granted, I don't follow any stan accounts on social media. But the narrative that Chromatica isn't Gaga's best has been around since it dropped (and it's why Mayhem was largely considered a return to form), so I don't think it has anything to do with Madonna's album being released. Anyway, anyone engaging in stan wars in 2026 is probably a loser.

Nothings happening outside of twitter. No ones moving for Confession II aside from Madonna's hardcore fans which is a lot of course since she's a pop legend. But the album will probably crash without the GP's support. No ones comparing her to gaga anymore, especially with how Gaga reinvented sound and expanded her artistry to acting and actually get recognized.

I've seen some on Twitter, from both sides. But then again, it is Twitter, people there are something else. 

I do find this whole "Gaga vs Madonna" discourse we've had for years stupid. Why pit two women against each other for no reason? Like we literally have a picture of them hugging each other, yet some go fighting online that there is a beef or whatnot.

Honestly, there's no actual correlation between Chromatica hate and Confessions 2 releasing.

People have been dogging on Chromatica for well over a year at this point. And its not like Chromatica was universally liked before Mayhem either.
