I find it unlikely that the people facing bankruptcy from rising cost of living are filthy rich. Plus the ordinairy Russian is literally borderline in poverty by developed world standards

nah fr I believe they would’ve been filthy + rich before getting themselves in a bankruptcy situation. It’s karma so don’t feel sorry for them.

My response is aimed at those who support Putins war and political regime. It is hard to imagine, but just like with MAGA, even among the poorest, some still adore their 'dear leaders'  Those affected by the war who are simply trying to live their lives are of course people who deserve sympthy!
