I understand that Taylor herself painted the image used on the invite. If that is the case, she technically is the owner of the artwork, so she can claim copyright. If the painting was made by someone else as a comission for the wedding, its likely that artist gave up all the rights and Taylor + Travis hold the distribution rights of the artwork. 

Its still stupid as hell. Not like she is making a profit out of the invites

I get where you're coming from, but it's a pattern at this point. She has this pattern of behavior with stuff like this. Yes, she has spoken out against Trump, but she hasn't done as much as she should have. I'm not asking for perfectionism (I'm actually very much so against that), but she was his social media teams primary target for months on end and more. She had an ability to truly lead a charge against him that could've done damage, but she did nothing. Her silence now on him using her music after everything he's done speaks volumes. If anything, based on your statement I am now wondering if her team taking action against these fans is supposed to act as an attempted diversion from Trump using her songs.

I mean, we all unwillingly knew the date of the wedding and the venue due to street closures. 
 

I saw a video of her fans on the street eating leftover pastries that the catering company gave out to them. Will the catering company be sued because they gave away Taylor’s property to nonguest? With the fans have to pay for the stale pastries or be sued?
