gagzus 22,221
As we know Backrooms and Obsession have done extremely well, Obsession is currently the most profitable movie in history (almost 500x it’s budget) so for my fellow movie fans I have a question… Will we see Hollywood cut budgets massively since these films have proved a small budget can be massively profitable? They’ve already shown they DONT understand what made these movies great amd are currently green lighting loads of more Creepypasta and Reddit stories like Siren Head. And we know if one thing works Hollywood runs it into the ground. So do we think they’ll (as usual) take the wrong idea from these movies? When they should be taking the idea of investing in new talent and ideas.

Helxig 45,267
If they were smart they would realise that real movie magic comes from original stories, interesting concepts, real artists working in every department, unknown actors who can act their asses off, and the time to really craft something amazing But they aren't smart. So they will keep funnelling millions upon millions into nostalgia-bait sequels and remakes with the same 5 actors that everybody is sick to death of seeing and losing money and scratching their heads wondering why it's not working I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

And then you get the Timothee Chalamet effect where he was known as this incredibly talented indie actor set to be one of the greats, and now everyone is so sick of his facce and his inflated ego that noone wants to see anything he's in And one more thing on this topic.. I am sick to death of all the voice acting roles in major animated films now going to film actors. They don't know how to voice act. And it's taking jobs away from actual talented voice actors who have amazing range and know how to craft very specific character voices. It's an industry where the talent is already underrated and it's very hard to get stable work. Tell me why the **** the latest animated movie coming out this year has Selena Gomez and Timothee Chalamet just talking in a recording booth in their regular voices with each other. CHRIS PRATT as Mario? Doing his regular stupid talking voice. The world has lost it's mind I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I love Marvel and I’m excited for them to finally do XMen but I think it’s a mistake to go straight to a massive mainstream franchise so quick. yeah Mario and Pikachu’s voices put me off, that’s why I’m glad XMen 97 has actual voice actors. Like WHY do we not have Jennifer Hale in a lead voice actress role for instance in Hollywood she’s amazing!
