Now just imagine either Future Lovers or It’s So Cool transitioning into this version on the non-stop mix of COADF… We have forgotten our public MANNERS
warhol killah 9,070
yeah this is a contender for album of the year. I can see it winning a dance/electronic album for this + dance/pop recording for one of the tracks. My bet is Danceteria. Thinking about it I hope she does a remix album of some sorts. Feats w Charli, Kylie, and Gaga (like a "let's work it out on a remix" pr move) Edited 14 hours ago by warhol killah a GAGA sound fanatic ✴ graphic design 3

Sneaky Oliver 22,946
I haven’t heard the full record yet but judging by the snippets I knew it would become one of her greatest albums I have to admit I really doubted she could do that but she has proven me wrong (fortunately!!!!)

I was cautiously optimistic because Stuart Price was involved. That man just understands pop music, I'd love to see what him & Gaga could do. Genuinely think he's the 00s version of Nile Rodgers & Trevor Horn. The gays know how to party

Bronco 23,659
Ngl Its interesting how COADF was a return to form and seen as a comeback after a "flop" era. And Confessions 2 is also being hailed as a comeback after a stint of floppage The gays know how to party
monstertoronto 11,592
So happy for her. She’s def put in the work to make a real comeback and it really feels like people are behind her this time. I’ve loved every song I’ve heard so far. Bizarre and Danceteria are peak. Hope she gets a number one album and some Grammys. A first general field Grammy would be incredible. 1

And Confessions 2 is also being hailed as a comeback after a stint of floppage To be fair to Madonna, American Life was a great album, it flopped because of all the “controversy” and media painting her as an anti-American type of figure (that amazing video getting canned for a parade of flags was sad). Then mor recently Madame X was one of her most experimental albums, apart from Medellin the majority of songs where not commercially viable or radio friendly with some exceptions. I am glad Confessions II seems to bring her back to this kind of album and music.

Certain legacy publications with a high level of prestige and influence have a higher weight applied to their score thus they can raise or lower a score noticeably. Who these publications are and what the weight is are both unknown to anyone but MC and the publication. It is theorized though that the publications that do receive these weights are the ones that have a long history of art criticism and are generally looked at within the industry as a leading voice and tastemaker.
