CHIPCHROME 692
The singles are good. Everything else feels like a poor man’s attempt at Padam Padam if I’m being honest.

Horny Chicken 10,851
There isn’t a single song I dislike. My least favorite part is when Sabrina sings. 1
gagzus 22,246
A honest review from a non fan; it’s good, a solid 7/10 album id say. I’m glad she’s giving her longtime fans something they love. It’s nothing outstanding as dance music goes. I do think the album could’ve been renamed to Danceteria because it’s nothing like the original album besides it being a nonstop album. I was expecting more nudisco influences but it’s house more specifically acid house, and I’m kind of over House being one of the three genres people do when they make dance music now. It’s always either House, DnB and Techno. Which this album doesn’t venture outside of either but most pop acts dont anyway and it’s nothing particularly notable. As a dance music lover the transitions feel smooth but not exciting like I’m in an actual club where the transitions are drawn out and more tease-y which is what i was hoping for. There’s some mastering issues I have too but Stuart’s work always has that problem for me. The album feels very much of the 2010s trend of dance-does-80s/90s to me, which I know a lot of people on here won’t realise because their reference for dance music in the 2010s was mostly ARTPOP. my favourite tracks are; Danceteria, Love Sensation, Bizarre, School and The Test.

This is the weakest part for me. It really doesn't feel like a true mix like the first album The gays know how to party

She didn't have a streaming fanbase going into this album era tbh So it's not surprising, I think her physical sales (especially outside of the US) will be her strong point The gays know how to party

She is not a streaming artist. Almost 95% of her chart success in the last decade has come purely from physicals/pure sales, which is why there's been such a strong push on that front with all the vinyl variants. Madame X sold 95k first week and 90k of that was from physicals. Rebel Heart sold 121k first week and 116k of that was from pure sales as well. This album will be seen as a success if she's able to match or better Rebel Heart's first week.
