Kept stealing my sister’s CD. then Music comes out. Been obsessed ever since with her entire catalog. But I haven’t been this engaged in a new Madonna release since Confessions 1 or American Life. Pigatha 1,269 Posted Saturday at 02:47 AM Share Posted Saturday at 02:47 AM Since I've had more time with it, I can say that this is perhaps one of the best albums (for me), I usually have trouble listening to an album completely through (probably my ADHD) but I don't have that issue with Confessions ii. I also love the vocal manipulation on many of the tracks and the intricate instrumentals. I was also surprised I enjoyed L.E.S Girl because that generally isn't the type of song I enjoy, but hearing madonna sing that type of track was wonderful. Fragile was a great song as well, upbeat, while sad (my favorite combo) My least favorite was the song featuring Lola, but it was good to see into her relationship with her daughter a bit. I'm also usually not a fan of house music - the repetitiveness and lack of melody bore me - but the execution is nicely done. Danceteria, Read My Lips and Everything spice things up nicely and kinda make Love Sensation sound more special? Idk. I'd also like to say that School up until the end is quality And the ABBA sample in Hot Sauce is so gold, literally the most bonus track thing to do ever Overall I think damn near every song serves a purpose, I say damn near because Love Without Words and One Step Away are pretty meh; they play right into the house music repetitiveness. My favorites are IFSF, Love Sensation and Betrayal (gem alert!!!).
