As you said it’s at NYCs biggest venue and given that it is getting massive coverage it’s impossible for her to go under the radar and we would’ve seen had she gone by now. There’d have been pictures of her arriving or leaving posted by paparazzi they were practically camped at every airport in NYC for any celebrity that so much as flew in to see if they’re attending the wedding. She may have been invited, but clearly she hasn’t gone

Yes, disruption, subversiveness and  uniqueness is essential to camp as a style, Sontag amongst other authors and art historians would agree with that

They're cordial but it's definitely not giving close to the point they’d invite to or attend each others weddings. And if we base it on interactions (that are not from BC era) take Grammys 2025 for instance which they both attended and were sitting pretty close to each other and we have not seen a single photo or a video of them together but we have footage of them interacting with other celebs that were there. I really don’t think that Gaga has many industry friends or friends amongst her peers.

Not to butt into this discussion but I actually did an entire article about Camp on my Substack (thebradleyreport.substack.com) and I defined camp as sincerity + time. And how time makes something actually camp not a visual marker or even the intention. I also discussed authentic camp vs forced camp
