Its been an open secret that she's had an ED for years and it's clearly reached a new peak. It shouldn't be deemed insensitive to point out the obvious when it's a very unhealthy situation and you're coming from a place of concern. Not calling this stuff out for what it is only makes these EDs worse. It's not that long ago that she was making video saying that she was at her unhealthiest when she was called healthy and that we shouldn't talk about people's bodies. This is a very common response from ED sufferers - deflecting from their illness and re-framing it as we're the ones with the problem. The Eugenia Cooney situation is even weirder. I've heard from former ED sufferers who have said odd things about how she should be handled and I actually can't even remember what they said now, but it amounted to a big load of nothing and basically that we have to sit back and let her waste away. Bizarre.

Ariana needs an intervention and I don't think that should be an issue with an adult when they're doing this to themselves. Yes, forcing an adult to do something they don't want to do isn't ideal but you can't condone it and sit idly by as they destroy themselves. Indeed, whoever suggested that she tours and puts out a new album does not have her best interests at heart.

I love u Lana but please stay out of this

im not saying she has ED tho?

Im saying she naturally has a protruding ribcage that gets more visible under certain lights and weight fluctuations.

And what I'm saying is she probably has been suffering from an ED for most of her life. I can't with the "she naturally has..." line, she's way through her 30s, not a 10yo girl

Perhaps the recent comeback of "thin is in" and the rise of Ozempic has warped people's minds just like it did back in the day when we're trying to brainwash ourselves to believe that visible ribs and sternum on a grown woman is normal and healthy. I remember that I once saw a magazine describe these visible chest bones as a "xylophone chest" and it's very apt. The skin in this area shouldn't be so thin that we can see them. You can't even see these bones on children. You shouldn't be seeing them on adults. It's not politically incorrect to point out that someone is dangerously underweight. How exactly are you meant to help someone if you can't acknowledge their problem?

Um, isn't this is not a forum where the entire point is to post our opinions? My post was entirely respectful and filled with concern. You have no right to tell anyone if they should or shouldn't post anything.
