Like ppl knew it here, and loved it, and I wasn't really part of the Gaga community back then so I just assumed it was a hit haha. Honestly, I don't know, Seems like lots of straight middle aged white men loved it, like I heard it everywhere here, even at the freaking car shows. But will she be known as the Lady who released Abra? Idk. Like, she already made so many iconic songs that people think of first when they hear her name. ROM was a global smash hit when it was released, but only the lack of promo didn't carry it further. Telephone was not that front loaded and only the video made the song stand out for GP.
