Circumcision is mutilation. 

You can still argue for some of the health benefits tied to the procedure, but it doesn't change the fact it is mutilation.

There was a massive pseudo-scientific push in the late 20th century linking it to improved cleanliness based on studies which ignored the fact that circumcised dads didn't know how to teach their sons to clean down their if uncut which lead to hygiene issues.
