Kanye has been a great writer in his career, but he's known for his influential production. Jay-Z is praised for his lyrics, their flow, and the fact that he doesn't write anything down.

Lana's on it, therefore, I'm happy. Hope this counts towards Grammy recognition. Gaga really should be there but I understand why she isn't. People really need to examine her ballads and non-singles in general and they'd get it.
