I called this from The jump. When they said they were making a biopic. I knew they would sugarcoat it and not be real. They would focus on the Art more than his Personal life through the Decades. I mean his career was incredible, and he's the ultimate pop icon so I can understand them just wanting to celebrate his artistry, but it's well known that he has a very dark side to his story and it feels disingenuous to not at least explore that a bit, even if they stayed neutral about it.
