Malcolm In The Middle- Life's Still Unfair

Pretty solid overall.  I was a fan of the original show from 2000-2006.  But the first few seasons were the best.  I forgot the family had another child and an adopted kid during it. 

 

Before I started watching Breaking Bad took me a while to get Hal out of my head when looking at Walt

Bryan Cranston was so damn funny in Malcom in the Middle.   It would typical not have been my kind of show, but the writing and acting were just soooo good.  Felt the same way about “The Middle” a few years later with Patricia Heaton - very solid and funny “family” show.

I remember looking down on The Middle for so long (having never seen it, thinking it was just another in a line of dumb, low-brow sitcoms). Then I eventually binged it right around the pandemic & kicked myself for being so quick to judge.

Patricia Heaton is kind of a whack job irl but she is a solid, likable actress & that show proved to be well-written & sharp once you gave it enough of a chance.

I've seen the original in YouTube shorts only. Show is good. Sad that Dewey didn't reprise his role.

They didn't adopt. In the original finale the last scene is lois showing a positive birth control test so the new kid is that baby lol. kinda funny they finally had a girl and they're non binary

 

I loved the reboot I hope they do more

Yeah, the actor is getting a PhD at Harvard or something like that and has no interest in acting right now.

It was so good! I was pleasantly surprised, one of the better tv show sequels that’s come out. I loved Leah, Kelly, and Tristan. They fit perfectly into the show. I hope they release more episodes! I had no idea it was only four.
