The never-ending saga of Lena's life continues. It's like every few years, she drops another bombshell. It's definitely all but confirmed now that there was something going on between Jack and Lorde. So many of her songs allude to this, most notably, her most recent song, What Was That, where she talks about a relationship that seemed like the real thing and then ends devastatingly, where she says "since I was 17, I gave you everything" and considering she started working with Jack at 17 and only stopped working with him on her new album...there's definitely some ethical questions here as Jack was 30 at the time and living with Lena. Though I feel Lorde is almost as bad, she always had that "chill girl" vibe about her like you think it's safe to leave her alone with your boyfriend but she'll try it on with him the second you're out the room. I wonder if Margaret Qualley has some boundaries in place about him working with young women knowing this close relationship he had with her.
