Gaga Ft Madonna??

Ok I'm not sure why a thread hasn't been made already but rumors have been circling that a collaboration between these two pop legends is in fact happening for the Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack. If true, it would mark a genuinely historic moment for pop culture. Both artists represent defining forces from different eras of pop, and their careers have often been compared in terms of influence, reinvention, and visual imagery. We all know the history between these two artists so this truly would be a cultural event on a meteoric scale and I don't know why no one is freaking about the possibility of this actually happening?!! I personally would be gagged. 

What are your thoughts?

I was too young to know much about that hag Madonna, all I known is that she’s always been rude to Gaga.

At this age, Madonna has one foot in the grave. If the collab is real, it would leave a kinder image to her legacy, and also prove how Gaga has always been the mature one. I’m all for it.

The titles we got were made up, Kiki isn’t a real song it’s just because of a lyric in the snippet of Runway. But if they do a song together, they’re the only 2 artists in the trailers music wise when you think about it.

Also since the film was announced, many reliable Madonna sources have said Madonna’s lead from COADF2 is getting used on the soundtrack too.

I would absolutely love that! I don’t know how likely that is but it’d be so down for it. + I would rub it in any jobless and bitter Madonna stan face who hate on mother all day

Not that I buy that rumor but they might not be pushing it becase Madonna is supposed to release her new single in April. Wouldn’t make sense to have 2 singles out at the same time.

Though I’m excited about a possible collaboration between them, I think most of the fans who follow Gaga since the beginning feel like this could’ve been cooler back in 2009/2010. Now, given their history and all that’s happened between them, it feels kinda “forced”? Like at this point I kinda don’t want it anymore.

I am excited and of course I will die if it ends up being true. But I’m now more hyped about the project itself because I don’t think Gaga needs this validation anymore. I hope they don’t make it seem as if this is something Gaga needs now or as if Madonna is giving Gaga her blessing. Madonna fans will probably not agree with this, but they are now on the same level so Gaga needs no validation from her

There were some UK press reporting Madonna recorded a DWP2 song. And we know she had some ties with Andrew Watt lately. So most definitely possible

For heaven's sake! Can these rumors be over and finally confirmed true or false. It would save energy of these who are both for it and against it, arguing over if Gaga should collaborate with Madonna or not...
