I wonder how much live nation and interscope receive from the tour gross?

Gaga has been under a traditional 360 since the beginning of her career so she likely nets 15-25% of the gross. Considering she gets to keep all of her movie money and has a beauty brand I'm expecting the tour to be worth doing and extending it over doing something more lucrative. $50 million to tour for a year is good money.

I honestly thought she'd get more than that! Obviously 50 mil is an incredible amount of money but I thought she's take a lot more of the money from the tour. I hope all the band, dancers and production team are paid very well too.

Just FV the scalpers buy them at original price and then upsell them to make a profit. Gaga, the crew and the venue dont see any of that upsell just the original scalper

Wish they included the MAYHEM promo stadium shows in this since they were actually tour dates and the same show.

So is this not including TAOPC dates before the official tour?

It's kind of weird that they are fine with scalpers earning more than them for these tickets, makes me wonder if it's really scalpers or an in-house scam to resell tickets for a higher price and earn money outside of the tour grossing reports.. some kind of money laundering/tax evasion :huntyga:

Can confirm that to a degree they are real, I know someone close (like family close put it that way) who used to do this they’d save thousands of £ every year to wait for big artists touring, buy a full row of tickets and then resell them for upto 10x the price. It’s some people’s “job” to a degree.

Said person just needed 2 big artists to tour a year qnd they could make a years worth of money off a few rows of tickets, once they did it with just a single One Direction concert and made my whole years worth of money in a week and I’m not even joking :rip: but they don’t do it now because apparently scalping has become a “competitive market”. Thanks god ticketmaster in the UK is cracking down on it.

they should just forbid tickets transfer and let people cancel their purchase with a 10% fine.. people will buy these tickets if there is demand.. because if at the end the gross wouldn't change, so what's the point in making everyone miserable but the scalpers?

I know here in the UK ticketmaster have started cancelling or not allowing people to even enter gigs with resold tickets that are resold outside of their sites. They infamously cancelled a fans ticket for Ariana’s upcoming tour after they bought it off a scalper who sold it through a third party site.

The new rules they’re implementing here is, any tickets sold on Ticketmaster can ONLY be resold through Ticketmaster’s official resale site and NO MORE than face value. They also will require you to provide ID at the concert to prove your name is the one on the ticket.

When we got the last total it was confirmed those dates weren’t included, so unless something has changed they aren’t included.

Ticketmaster in Spain kinda does the right thing. You can put your ticket for resale but the highest you can go is the price you paid for it.

Worst part is they charge the new buyer extra charges for their services and it ends up being a bit more expensive (like +10% of OG) but at least its not the 3k you see on the US for GA tickets that were 600$

Some time ago, lady Gaga said "all I ever wanted was love". Good to see her having both love and money now.
