That's what prevented people like Biden from fully saying "nah, f*ck off, y'all are crazy". The political blowback for ditching Israel would have been hell.

But now? People on the left hate Israel for being a genocidal skidmark of a nation and people on the right hate Israel for dragging us into yet another forever war that's destabilized the world.

Whoever becomes president in 2029 will be primed to finally weaken the ties between the two countries and allow Israel to fully face the consequences of their own actions.

Maybe without US taxpayers dying in debt to protect them the Israeli people will wake tf up and ditch the leaders that keep creating terrorists everywhere. Either that, or the nation will be weakened to the point that they're no longer a threat.

Israel has deliberately over decades tied itself to depictions of Judaism in the West to such a extent that for "common" perception they're essentially synonymous. And it is the most cynical propaganda I've ever seen.

Israel has done irreparable damage to the reputation of Jewish people all around the world. Antisemitic attacks spiking by 900%+ after their wildly overboard response to the Oct 7th attack was not a coincidence.

Constantly bombing schools, hospitals, and refugee camps, torturing and executing hostages, infringing on the sovereignty of their neighbors, displacing millions of people, and at the end of the day saying you've done all this "for the good of the Jewish people"?

Literally their ONLY justification for dragging the US into a war with Iran and f*cking the global economy is that they wanted to create chaos.

 

Israel has already made clear it doesn’t care what happens next as long as Iran dissolves into chaos.

In its current state, that nation is a blight on the world and whether they realize it or not, they've burned most of the good will they had with American citizens. Over the next few election cycles I fully expect standing against Israel to become a "common sense" political stance.

It’s honestly wild to me that they think, even with the US on their side (for the time being) that they’d be able to topple Iran and annex Lebanon (much less the other wars they’ve alluded to sprawling into Europe). I’ve said this multiple times, but it’s kind of insane to me that Sinwar (the architect of 10/7) will likely have succeeded at the end of the day: draw Israel into conflict with Gaza/Palestine (then the broader Arab world) where Israel reins hellfire on innocent Palestinians, becomes paranoid and increasingly expansionist, and, as consequence, become global pariahs and likely collapse on themselves.

They're so self destructive.

It's always been their strategy to create their enemies. They know for a fact that creating these war torn areas will spawn radicals and terrorists. They count on it to justify their continued assault on their neighbors.

It's like some kind of bastardized constant false flag in a way.

This is what I've been trying to say for ages. You can criticize Israel without being prejudice towards other people. Hmmm...almost like people are hiding behind a shield so they can have an excuse to be every -ism at once.

I'm aware both sides believe they are battling some sort of end times war and both feel "divinely" justified to slaughter each other. Religion plunges us further back from making real and valuable progress as a species on all levels.
