Instagram isn't a **** website. Trans bodies are just as beautiful as any other, but we do not go to Instagram to view nudity. I think this is inappropriate on a platform that allows youth and minors, and doesn't do much to help trans folks image as predatory that the right tries to depict them as.

A non explicit thirst trap used as a profile pic on a forum with active moderation vs a **** pic on a platform that has been exposed repeatedly by whistleblowers for deliberately endangering children for profit.

If you're pro-posting d*ck pics on a platform with child members that actively profits off of child abuse then I am going to assume you are pro-child abuse. Because even with members having made reference to their own abuse experiences, y'all are still acting like this is a laughing matter for petty point scoring.

Nah, you're one of the ones who have joined in with people trying for petty point scoring in a thread where members have shared lived experience of the topic. And tried to play dumb over right wing rhetoric (then not engage afterwards) and went on to argue in another thread that a nazi who hasn't done anything to warrant forgiveness should be forgiven because his new album isnt trashy. I see you. 

As for your example - I made a clear case of using a specific platform (instagram) in such a way is the issue. Not the middle school teacher teaching art - the only way your attempt at a counter argument works on this subject is if that teacher has numerous allegations of facilitating child abuse against them from colleagues.

You're wrongly assuming I don't have that lived experience as well. I wasn't playing dumb; I asked for clarification from you because your original post mentioning it didn't make sense. I didn't respond further because you gave the clarification I requested, I didn't agree but it wasn't worth continuing the debate (this whole morality debate has gone on far too long as I've been saying), and I didn't want to be on the receiving end of whatever attitude you're giving off that you've been ramping up to for days now. 

I literally didn't argue that anyone should forgive him at all. Especially not because of his new album. In fact I made sure to mention more than once that what he did was awful, that I didn't accept his apology as enough, and that people not forgiving him was understandable. Including a post of mine ✨️you liked✨️ so earlier in the day you knew full well exactly what I was saying. At this point you're just making things up because you're upset over a penis on the internet. The disingenuity is thicc with you rn

You may think you're seeing me, but its becoming very obvious your big emotions are clouding your vision. 

As for my example: fair! I still think you're being wildly over dramatic and doing way too much, but my statue of David analogy doesn't work here.

Still don't see the problem though. A non sexual nude is still a non sexual nude whether it is in an educational setting or not.

Heard. And I agree that context matters, but I don't think a social media post is an inappropriate context: being on the page of an artist who touches on topics like incest, murder, cannibalism, etc.

But I've stated my opinion on here plenty and we're past the point where anyone's position is gonna shift so this'll be my last post on this thread
