Is the amount it adds to your electric bill less than you used to pay for gas? Or do you mainly use charging stations? I’m considering an EV but need to do more research on them. I own my own home so I just charge it in my garage. And I have a free nights electricity plan and charge my car at night so it literally cost me nothing to fuel my car. I only have to use a charging station a few times a year if I’m going on a short road trip here within Texas. Otherwise, with my 7 mile commute to work every day I’m fine with just charging it at home every night. It’s definitely great if you live in a home and don’t have a long commute, but outside of that, I could see it being more difficult with a long commute or living in an apartment.
