I have total faith in Stuart Price, he's an incredible producer. He also seems like a good lad.

That would be a great title.

He's the only producer that's ever got consistency when working with Madonna tbh. He also produced my favourite modern Pet Shop Boys album & Kylie's Aphrodite.

Seriously underrated pop music producer, and truly gets the best out of who he works with tbh.

Only reason I have any hype for the new Madonna album tbh

Doesn't he know Britney Jean is ROL 2?

Ironically, he wanted Britney Jean to be ROL 2. He even produced this mix:

Gurll, they worked together again on MDNA and we all saw how that went.

You can not create that kind of magic again after all those years.

That’s why I’m not upset at all that Gaga isn’t returning to RedOne. And it did not surprise me at all when Katy’s album with her old collaborators sucked

Sidenote but I love when artists like Gaga and Madonna collaborate with producers who help shape the sound of an era, like Ray of Light and CFAD are so distinct IMO but they’re both so good, same with producers like Garibay, RedOne, Burns, BloodPop, Madeon, Cirkut

He is also behind FKA Twigs’s Perfect Stranger and Dua’s several Future Nostalgia tracks

wow this was not very nice to listen to :traumatica:

I need to listen to Madonna’s albums, I’ve never listened to ROL or CODF aside from whatever singles came out (not sure which ones are from those albums and can’t think of any titles of her works atm) but with all this talk of them I feel like it might be time tbh

It's all okay for artists to move on from early days creative bond with producers. Madonna also did with Patrick Leonard and Nile Rodgers. I don't think it's personal tbh

Gaga also did with RedOne, DJWS and Garibay. Doesn't meen she's not friend or have hard feeling with them.

Yes!! I adore the albums you mentioned. Also, the Scissor Sisters’ Night Work, and amazing The Killers tracks and remixes.

I think he’s kinda the Mark Ronson of British electronic music.

Orbit has been a bitter bitch for years. He randomly goes on tantrums like yearly atp. Speaking of Stuart tho I had full trust in him until I heard Love Won’t Wait. Idk what AI they did to that beautiful track but my word :saladga:

Hopefully none was used on an original recording

No yeah, I agree. It wasn’t the best listen. Thankfully, they didn’t go with this sound because I feel like Britney would have received a lot of hate if she released an album that sounds like a Temu Ray of Light with the William Orbit as a producer.

True and sad to say but he seemed quite lost in the recent interviews I saw. Plus, the quality of his music and his own productions has really declined over the years. As a fan of his work since Torch Song and Bassomatic, I listened to his Strange Cargo series (mainly III and Hinterland) on repeat in the '90s. He was truly a pioneer. Madonna definitely spotted his talent, and ROL became t.h.a.t. masterpiece. I seriously doubt that he could still be relevant today, whether for Madonna or anyone else.

Despite that, William Ørbit remains a legendary producer, with an absolute magic and unmistakable touch, but unfortunately, he’s been a shadow of his former self lately...

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart
