To add to this- this is the first I've seen/heard/thought about this man and it has been how long since he came onto the scene?

Gaga definitely was in a much different situation when everyone said her career was tanking and she was over... and she clearly was stood the test of time lol. Not saying Lil Nas X can't do the same, but he hasn't done it yet. His appearance in the media is entirely different, and frankly, I don't think any current artist could navigate the ARTPOP scrutiny the way Gaga did and come out of it as successful as she still is. I don't follow any of the Lil Nas stuff but based on his absence from any gossip sites except for this, I don't think he is someone who will sustain fame.

Really hope he’s surrounded by people who really have his best interests at heart.  Every time I come across a video of him, people are always in the comments asking for his reappearance. I have no doubt he’ll be successful with his next project

Gaga bounced back cos she is versatile and her talent carries her up. She tried jazz, she tried acting, and awarded each time for it. But so far from Nas, he had only been trying to the same thing as Montero with shock value marketing & a reliance on tiktok viral moments over sustained musical output as follow up, which make him seems like one trick pony, and why it doesn't work for him, cos it began to feel repetitive and tiresome to audiences. As we know, tiktok audiences moved on easy.

And Gaga is also very careful with her public image at the time. You don't see her get endorsements from UGG, Crocs, or Taco Bell that Nas did. Sure, it helped him to be relatable with his fans, but those also cheapens his image.

So comparing Gaga to him is like comparing apples and oranges really from the way they cultivate their own career alone.
