Teletubby 158,148
Lil Nas X, legal name - Montero Hill, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on four felony charges on Thursday (March 12) at Van Nuys Courthouse East in Los Angeles Superior Court. Lil Nas was arrested Aug. 21, 2025, after he was captured on video walking in traffic in the predawn hours, wearing only his underwear. Prosecutors say Hill, 26, was “strolling naked” along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City around 5:40 a.m. when police arrived. They allege Lil Nas X assaulted responding officers who tried to take him into custody, injuring three of them. He was later charged with three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. Lil Nas X has pleaded not guilty and faces up to five years in state prison if convicted as charged. His lawyer asked a judge for a short delay so she could file a motion seeking to transfer his felony police battery case into an unspecified diversion program. She did not elaborate on the type of program but said she was waiting on an “expert report” to support the request. Diversion programs generally lead to charges being dismissed if defendants complete treatment or rehabilitation. x x No One Cares About You 1 1 3

Alxjcgn 1,755
Respect to him as an artist- but as someone who was arrested as a teen (for smoking pot in my car lol) and given the diversion program... I really don't understand how it is an option when you're in your mid-20's, I guess unless you are a celebrity lol. Maybe I'm a hater or behind the times, but you should be expected to know better and be capable of suffering consequences of actions by the time you are 26 (that is how old he is from what I just searched). I find it baffling to think he even assaulted an officer, but if he did and then resisted, by all means let a man suffer the consequences. Maybe that sounds harsh but celebrities are people too. And I share this as someone currently working for the department of juvenile justice lol Edited March 12 by Alxjcgn

You can't just "know better" with substance abuse issues. The gays know how to party 1

Absolutely agree... hence why a "diversion" for him should include mandated rehabilitation and other requirements that are going to help him get better and sustain that improvement. I did not mean to compare anything or sound on my high horse with that statement, but just suggest I have an understanding with how these programs work both in m personal experience and now with clients I work with. I struggled with substance abuse issues and thank god the only think I ever got in trouble for was pot... because at that time I didn't take it seriously enough and I continued to dig my grave deeper. So I guess I am hoping that he is actually able to access the treatment he needs to get healthy and is helped with recgonizing his ability to do so now. Speaking from experience- nobody should have to go through drug withdrawals alone in a dark basement because you hit rock bottom and now nobody will help you. Very few people make it out of that spot, and I'd hate for him to not be given the support to keep him away from that Edited March 12 by Alxjcgn

ARTPOP was a flop by her standards and no where near this. And then she managed to bounce back after that and look where she is at now. This ain’t the same thing.
