Will LG8 be bigger than Mayhem?

I feel like Mayhem has either

 (A) set a really high bar for what’s to come later or..

(B) Has generated momentum for LG8 to have even more impact or…

(C)  Mayhem is a huge celebratory success and by the time LG8 comes (long gap) Mayhem will be long gone and comparisons are more hazy.

I think it depends what kind of album/project it is... anything next is definitely going to be big in the fanbase because we are all still riding the high of MAYHEM. If she did something that was purposed to appeal to the GP too/did a lot of promo for it, then I could see the next era of hers being bigger than this current one

I'm not sure how it can get bigger than MAYHEM tbh  

A no.1 hit song (DWAS) and album, the gag that was Abracadabra, an iconic Coachella set, a record-breaking 2.5 million attendance in Copacabana, 3x Grammys, 1x Emmy, 4x VMAS, a surprise Super Bowl appearance, numerous television performances and interviews, her highest grossing tour yet...these are some major feats that are hard (not entirely impossible) to replicate. 

And we still have The Devil Wears Prada cameo and song, MAYHEM: Requiem and the Mayhem Ball concert film to look forward to. This era is truly for the history books. It's her best since Born This Way imo.

Let's not forget DWAS, I think the success of that song even had most of us Little Monsters shook. The numbers on that are crazy for the time it's been out!

It'll be a hard era to live up to in terms of surpassing Mayhem in awards, performances, chart success, etc. No matter what turn she takes though I'll be here & eager for more as always

No doubt it will be bigger. I think she's just getting started. I hope they learned from the successes and misses from this era.
