Vanish Into You - Music Video Concept Idea

Hello Monsters, with summer coming up, I wanted to share my idea for Gaga to close the chapter of Mayhem with one last Music Video for Vanish Into You.

Setting:

The Music Video plays in Italy in the 60's/70's. Lady Gaga wears different white dolce Vita dresses while driving with her lover, which is wearing a grey suit. Both drive in a white cabrio through the landscape.

She's wearing a heart necklace, in some shots she's wearing a head-scarf, in others a hairstyle similar to her DWAS persona. The moodboard is "Dolce Vita" with a dark twist.

[Story Verse 1/Pre-Chorus 1/Chorus 1]

Gaga and her lover - who's face is not revealed - dance and enjoy their life in different sceneries of italian villages and mediterean landscapes. Throughout her trip Gaga meets and talks to people. They seem to wear more white as the video continues. 

In one Scene it gets revealed that Gaga and her lover have a red suitcase full of money. A strange little Girl with black hair in a red dress is haunting and observing her through different sceneries, she gets noticed by Gaga each time. At some point Gaga even follows the girl into a side street to confront her, just to stumble upon police officers dressed in all Red chasing after her. 

Her lover takes her out of the side street and they escape the police.

Only now it gets revealed to the viewer that gaga is actually a "wanted" criminal. (Inspired by Bonnie & Clyde)

As the Verse 2 continues Gaga and her Lover laugh and sing in a Coffee shop with a picture of Tony bennett on the wall. Throughout the Video there are many easter eggs of her past Eras included. 

Gaga's happiness stops abruptly as she sees the red dressed Girl again. She and her lover get immediately inside the car. Followed by the police, Gaga races down a country road, the suitcase opens and all the money flies out their car - both of them amused and happy.

The racing of the cabrio chased by the police gets faster, as Gaga drives along a canyon.

All of a sudden the red dressed girl stands on the road, Gaga turns the steering wheel and the vehicle crashes down the canyon. As the instrumental bridge of the Song can be heard different frames of Gaga's happy life and flashes of her rotating in the car clash with one another. 

The hectic edit ends with a close up of Gaga in her last moments. She can be seen, looking for her lover. The close up shows her heart necklace now opened up after the crash and reveals a picture of herself - A little Girl with black hair and a red dress. 

As the camera zooms out, for a second, not her male lover is seen dead next to her in the seat, but the girl in the red dress, as Gaga closes her eyes and smiles, she grabs the hand of the little girl. 

As the camera zooms out we see that the police and other spectators are standing on the street - all of them dressed in white.

Meaning: The Video is the Final Chapter of Gaga's Relationship with Mistress Mayhem. Similar to her Coachella Mayhem Tour Set, it shows how Gaga's decision to choose her Artistry, her chaotic side (red/mayhem) to effect her life for the peaceful side of her (white). Choosing the red Suitcase (Artistry/Fame/Money) ended up in her being chased by the Police (Fame, Paparazzi) as a direct consequence. Her lover (Michael) is in it for the ride. Gaga has amazing moments and a fullfilled life, the interactions she has with Fans are blisful and positive, but Gaga can't deny that her decision to choose her Artistry haunts her as well. Instead of accepting the mayhem, Gaga dies trying to get away from it. Only in her final moments does she realize she caused the mayhem herself and by accepting it she finds peace. 

All the people she met can be seen wearing white - as she did. She vanished into each and every one of the lifes she met and touched.

Concepts and theories

Its so rare these days tò come by these.

Its simple but pretty effective. With some details to make It her own and good editing would pair perfectly with the music. Like its Gaga so there could Always be a surreale element. The woman in Red, tò me could stand out completely, they all wear 50s clothes and She's in some spandex or some very modern fashion. For example, amongst other things that could seem normale but aren't.

I like him not being seen or even more seen Just like actual Shadow.
