Movies. She could still make music for movies without acting in them. I have watched ASIB and HoG once and haven’t even seen JFAD. I always have music on.

movies cuz they take up months-years of her time 

a jazz album is quick cuz theyre mostly covers and takes maybe a week or two to record

That’s more my issue. She does things that are on paper slam dunks rather than bonafide risks and she’s got the talent to do it. Big success comes with some risk not choosing obvious roles. So I’d like to see ms Ga really push herself to take a risk rather than do a “on paper” hit that burns her. The things that are on paper to be hits are usually the flops bc expectations are raised.

I guess Cheek to Cheek is a type of pop record and Harlequin is more traditional/pop/rock/jazz/variety so you may have a point

i don't disagree tbf, she seems to gravitate towards those "this'll eat up awards" projects rather than just acting as an art form

Or she really does like them but they’re very “that’s a Gaga role” type roles. Shes immensely talented! Has a lot of good will and loyal fans! Take a huge risk and see what happens!
