She’s mostly stationary and chilling in a suburban neighborhood. It just doesn’t feel nearly as sinister as the moodiness and grime of the crypt. And the writhes are better. Perhaps because it’s not just her laying on the hood of a car (though that is my favorite part of the video). she really isn't mostly stationary and chilling like i said, i think you've really misunderstood the video because you're critiquing it for the same things you're praising the performance for (a big part of the video is also in a dark, moody, creepy room) and i don't see how adding dance choreography would make any of this better Edited 14 hours ago by nATAH mother, what must i do?

Because so much of that music video choreo is cinematography dependent to really make it pop. That's just not replicable on a tour where you can't control viewing angle. I think Parris delivered the best tour choreo we've seen in ages, everything was fluid and theatrical. The choreo on the tour is amazing, I love going back and watching videos and paying attention to all the little details within the choreography for all dancers. I also really respect that the choreography is intense, but clearly not to a level where Gaga's health becomes a risk. She doesn't ever seem to be moving stiff or in pain on the tour, and I also think not wearing huge heels while dancing has made such a big change for her.

I’m not saying I wanted Abra style choreo. I’m saying I just don’t think it matched the song’s intensity or level of grit. I wanted darker, more horrific and aesthetic OR over the top camp. I wanted The Clockwork Orange or I wanted AHS. And instead it felt like Goosebumps.

It’s rhythmic and writhing but gritty and choreographed and feels bigger and more interesting on stage, I think.

Putang Ina Mo 2,227
Kinda yes. But I'm happy with what we got. I like the choreo of Poker Face and the GoD's dance break in the tour and Coachella. my username says it all 🇵🇭

BELLYACHE 1,555
The OG Judas and Scheiße choreo are MILES BETTER, sorry. Abra’s choreo has some HIGHS but a few lows (like the weird hip car steering wheel move for no reason lol)
hELXIG 44,454
No because I'm pretty sure they very strategically created choreo for tour that was less of a strain on Gaga. Music videos are different but having to sing and dance at the same time, for someone with a chronic pain disorder.. it's gotta be different. Also Parris was responsible for the giant cage dress intro! And one more thing... if she still had Richie you know we wouldn't even have Abracadabra at all let alone anything else we got this era choreo wise. Parris was a major addition for the Haus of Gaga. She puts in more creative ideas than just choreo I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
popkulture 480
Excellence is done in moderation - quality over quantity, always. Parris x Gaga collaboration has exceeded my expectations for the entire cycle.
