Artist that you stanned for a long time but then it faded away?

P!nk. After she released Hurts 2 Be Human, i don't connect to her songs anymore. I feel like it lost the "angst".

I do miss a lot of her angst/rock sound. I liked her latest album and H2BH, but yea they are a much different sound and a lot of the songs felt like department store songs. I really want her to release something again with more of her 'Im Not Dead" sound.

Gwen Stefani! Growing up I dreamed of seeing her in concert and my gay 10 year old ass had all her perfume bottles on my book shelf for the harajuku characters. I was so excited when no doubt got back together for their comeback push and shove, and that album had absolutely no skips for me. Her later solo releases were a bit bland, and her latest is a snooze fest. Also her pushing the religious agenda has turned me off her completely. She has amazing vocals and ill always feel some love and nostalgia for her but she is the only person I would say ive truly stunned and in recent years just not been interested in their creative output.

As a Latina ... her little Latina, dress up phase in the Luxurious music video was everything. The details that went into that look :legend: her first album was so good. I rarely see it mentioned in pop related conversations today

I guess my love faded a lot for Thirty Seconds to Mars post This is war, especially America was so meh.

Also Nightwish was really bad after Tarja left, tried getting into them after Annete left but they lost a spark, same goes for Coldplay, like they do a great album every so often like Ghost Stories and Everyday life but I feel like they also lost a bit of their spark.

StressedOut

Twenty One Pilots (I never changed my user lfmaooaof), Halsey (sorta kinda), Ariana (also sorta kinda)

Grimes, Marina, and Tame Impala all have early works that are just amazing, but their albums in the past few years have been so underwhelming, I still check up on them every so often though.

Gaga is the only popstar I genuinely love or care for. I like Billie, SZA, The Weekend, Ariana, Olivia Dean as a casual/GP fan.

What was her opinion on Gaga?

Last I remember her mentioning Gaga was going to see the BTWB with her mum

I remember her saying something about Gaga being “naked” in a negative way then not long after released a mv and she looked naked. I can’t seem to find it  but also the husband said this "I'm sure I'm gonna get twitter hate, but to me Lady Gaga and thanks giving go together like turkey and Salmonella" he’s always been a douche tho

Not so much “stanning,” but I really loved St. Vincent from Actor through self-titled and it’s felt kind of like diminishing returns since then. MASSEDUCTION has some of her best and some of her worst work, Daddy’s Home, while competently made, is mostly just a slightly off-kilter genre-study, and ABS, while something of a return to form, doesn’t really go as far as it needs to in order to recapture that StV magic. She’s super talented, but I feel like everything post MASSEDUCTION has been fairly aimless and she’s yet to recalibrate herself as an artist.

Used to really like Pink now she’s just fine but I’m not going to get her albums on vinyl. I also stopped listening to Katy Perry proactively.
