I think the end of BTW into ARTPOP definitely soured her connection with fans, like especially since a “hierarchy” happened with her NYC fans she grew close with and things like Radio ARTPOP etc. People like Mark and Maikeeb who were assholes to put it politely and literally used to lie that they became her friend and said that the monster paw, the fanbase name and other things was dead and she didn’t like it, fans fighting to get backstage at the tour, people desperate to be with her during Princess Die onstage by throwing essays practically at her. Then I think a big nail in the coffin was when fans were AWFUL to Emma who was fan and close friend to her in a wheelchair and got to meet Gaga a lot during the era. Like some of the things I read online were awful. Finally the last thing that happened I remember from around this time was, she gave one of those NYC fans Brooklyn Nights as a gift and they basically just passed it around until it leaked.
 

Although random fun fact two of the massive stans from her god awful NYC followers ended up becoming somewhat famous; Maikeeb was Cardi B’s stylist for a while and one fan went on to become Kandy Muse on Drag Race. 

A lot of this is actually really sad. ): That fact about Brooklyn Nights is wild too. I remember back in 2017 that she might've said that she no longer felt comfortable telling her fans about music she was working on because she was afraid they would make rumors and stuff. It was after she shared Frankensteined.

Honestly though, this makes me like her more because she didn't take advantage of this. Celebrities like Nicki Minaj have taken advantage of their fanbases nastiness to attack people they don't like (like the barbz did in 2021 with Nicks husbands victims and anyone going after Nicki herself), but Lady Gaga hasn't done that herself. It's interesting because this a rare "reverse" situation where the fans ended up being the issue, and not the muse.

I mean… she did go through a phase of clapping back online when she was stoned back in the day (but not in a nasty way) and I loved her for it tbh

Thank god I’m not the only one annoyed af about it  does she not have someone editing her ****? It’s giving the TFM special edition with the booklet where she wrote “it’s wear I wrote the album” or whatever. Like girl, Gaga, you’re a musical genius, BUT THE GRAMMATICAL ERRORS
