Oriane 22,764
Cheek to Cheek is a lot better. Love for sale is lacking something. First of all I think the choice of songs isn't that great, it might just be that I don't like Cole Porter's music that much, or maybe having a full album of just his songs was too repetitive. Also, in The Lady and the Legend, when you compare the recording sessions for The Lady is a tramp, Cheek to Cheek and Love for sale, it's clear that Tony wasn't fully there even musically and he wasn't as precise in the direction. It seemed that Gaga felt too awkward to guide or take over on that part too. And it definitely had an impact on the final product. NewUsername 11,753
Cheek to Cheek by far! It's a really good album. Love For Sale was a bit of a letdown, tbh. Even though they sound amazing, the songs they'd chosen for it are not that great and the album didn't live up to its expectations of their second full album collab.

PornoDanceFight 1,991
I feel like Love For Sale has more tender moments between them with their duets and solo numbers. I might be biased as it’s their last record together, but it’s an uplifting listen.
