LGAte 587 Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 (edited) I think some people here are really forgetting the Chromatica II to 911 interlude, the bouyant and immediate likability of Alice, the cunty drag setup of Babylon, the absolute hype of Rain on Me, the brilliant vulnerability of Replay as an underrated gem, the psychotic excitement of the outro in Sine From Above, and quite frankly, the maybe-I-was-wrong-about Stupid Love long-term likability. free woman also gets too much hate and has a fantastic build up and explosion and enigma has really great lyrics and a cool house vibe. plastic doll should have been on the Barbie soundtrack if her team didn’t have their heads up their ass at the time…. oh and quite frankly, conceptually it’s her coolest in my opinion. Sad lyrics to a happy album about looking at a dreary world through the lens of color and sound to make it better again. It’s on point and if that is Gaga’s “phoning it in” album, then I’ll take it.
