I was scrolling through my feed yesterday and saw a post about Lady Gaga is strongly rumored to come to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights in the form of one of a walk-through attraction featuring music/characters from Mayhem. Now, I work for Universal Orlando, just hit my 10 year anniversary in November. There is ALWAYS speculation (with many being so incredibly false) about new attractions, shows and especially Halloween Horror Nights, so I know to take these rumors with a grain of salt. HOWEVER.. I had a conversation a few days ago with a friend who works with Universal Creative, the team who works on making new experiences at the parks. She hinted that I will want to buy a Frequent Fear Pass (an equivalent of a seasonal pass for Halloween Horror Nights) this year because I would be "very happy." I thought it may have been a hint about Sinners coming to the park, because we had a discussion about how amazing the movie was. But she also knows I love Gaga, so maybe this Gaga rumor could be more true than I originally thought? She won't tell me anything concrete, as Universal has very strict NDA enforcement for new projects. I texted her about this, but knowing her she won't confirm anything further. And yes, I know this sounds like a "One of my friend's moms works for..." situation. But I figured I would share/update if I hear anything else. I have a few friends in the HHN universe who may confirm/hint more information. Lady Gaga has been in the rumor mill for the past few days, with the biggest one in 2023 for a lagoon show. But Mayhem is way more appropriate for Halloween than Chromatica. A Google search of Lady Gaga Halloween Horror Nights has quite a few Reddit/Instagram hits about a possible 2026 Gaga house. What do you think? Could we finally get something Gaga at the world's biggest Halloween event? That would be around the release of Disease. I try to go twice a season to this event. I’ll go more if there really is a Mayhem Haus. The HHN Reddit seems to be on board with the idea of Gaga having a maze. I wonder if it will incorporate the Mayhem Ball story. That gothic feel with a cohesive story (sorta like what The Weeknd did). There’s gotta be an Off With Her Head Off With Her Head section. Or if it will be a mix of Gaga visuals. Like Puke on Gaga/Exorcist interlude. And a gory Gaga saying “Pop ate my heart!” Glammed up dead models in pools of metallic blood like Paparazzi. Anything from the Manifesto of Little Monsters. A diner with poisoned dead people scaring you. The BathHaus of Gaga/Bad Romance scene with scare actors coming out of their vessels. Anything Alejandro video related. A creepy nun, a widow with a heart on a pillow. A gun bra. Zomby Gaga If it’s in Hollywood, they could just use the area from Judas and make the Electric Chapel. himerosxo 476 Posted February 19 Share Posted February 19 (edited) I’ve been performing at the event since 2016 at Universal Hollywood. This has been in talks since The Weeknd’s maze in 2022. The original Gaga concept was using the white Bath Haus for one of the facades (which you can see in the first section in After Hours Nightmare). Now, Mayhem was supposed to happen last year but due to her being on tour, it looks like this may be the year. John Murdy confirmed that he’s been having conversations with Gaga herself and the Haus. My friend and co-worker who’s in charge of the makeup and prosthetics department with Magee FX (who supply all masks, makeup, props, etc.,) said that sketches and concept art were shown to them last year to begin building and designing the costumes for the performers, and yes they will all be 5’1”.
