I don't think so. Would a reverse Taylor  hire producer in the last 6 years who is known for many of Taylor's music in the past decade? 
And they are supportive peers with a long-standing friendship, not rivals. They have publicly praising each other., and even worked together.

Lana is just her own thing, pitting her against TS is not only inaccurate, but also big ooof imho

I didn’t say they are rivals? Reverse Taylor experience does not mean they are enemies.

What it means is she’s the reverse of Taylor in terms of caring about charts. Exhibit A:

-Taylor delays her vinyl shipment to get #1 on Billboard Hot 100

-Lana chooses to release song on a random day other than new music Friday

I enjoy her because she is one of few mainstream music folks who I feel genuinely makes the music she wants, and lives how she wants without playing calculated games. I also like hearing her outright say "I don't want this song to get lost in the shuffle" of new music Fridays. It's refreshing to hear that type of honesty.

As for the right wing accusation stuff, 1. I have not once felt that she was a MAGA supporter, and 2. I'm at the point where I don't care to poke, prod, or try and uncover if she (or other celebrities who aren't super-open about their political affiliations) is or not. THAT is like, witch-hunt level stuff to me.

Good on her and Jeremy for responding that they're not MAGA supporters recently, but they didn't really need to just to simmer the feelings of certain folks who think they might be just because "vibes".

I think it's not only vibes because during and after election Jeremy reposted and liked several proMAGA Tiktok content. Good that he's not associating with it now.

Yeah the things I saw that he had reposted seemed more like "stupid straight guy who never actually put two brain cells together about politics, so he shares offensive things" kinda things (I have people who married into my family like that), so the questions about him I can understand to a degree

and agreed, it's nice to have that cloud removed from him, because he seems like a good dude to/for lana

Other than her albums doing well, she’s never really been a charting artist anyway. She’s not an artist that relies on her singles to perform well on Billboard. It has never really mattered all that much to her success. Choosing not to release on Fridays makes sense for her.

She does have a point about everyone releasing on the same day, I can definitely see music dropping whenever becoming a thing as a result. It seems like artists are bringing this back, Gaga did the same thing with Abracadabra
