he was an investor, along with Akon, it's all in front of your eyes, everything from TF to ARTPOP has been treated with very limited power from Gaga and Interscope.

What do u think that they didn't want to make the 10th anniversary of BTW big with a lot of music from the vault? 

every ongoing or in progress project has been cease to exist after he left.

There’s not a chance in hell they could do this, masters are sacred because whoever owns them has the power to determine when and where they are used and also how much money they charge for them. In pop unless you’re fully independent like someone such as Raye, you will not own most of your masters.

I made a post in another thread about this, I estimated Gaga owns 40% of her masters which would be extremely high but that only equates to owning an average of 6% per song she makes and that’s IF she is credited as at least 50% songwriter, 50% producer and at least 10% musician (instrumentalist/instrument player) on her songs. Which post ARTPOP with the exception of Mayhem isn’t the case anymore. 
 

LUCKILY though TF and TFM are her most successful albums and she has the most stake in them because the songs are primarily made by herself and 1 other person entirely (RedOne or Space Cowboy, Matt Kb (Cherry Cherry Boom Boom) Fernando Garibay and Teddy Riley). Funnily enough I actually worked out RedOne technically owns most of the songs they made together MORE than Gaga because of his involvement in instrumentation, writing and producing. On average Gaga makes 1.7$ per 100 sales per song from TF/TFM

I‘m sure when the legal documents leaked from that firm hack that came out, her original contract was DIABOLICAL and she didn’t get the upper hand until after Joanne?

i didn’t realize he was so integral to all her early works i mean i knew he was there from the beginning but thats alot of percentage for a producer but maybe thats normal 

 

i rly hope michael doesn’t gift her back her masters tho that would be so neat

I don't get why some LMs are so negative and toxic and always twist a good thing into something bad.

This would be fantastic and super fair for Gaga to get what is rightfully hers and the result of so much hard work.

This would be the cutest wedding gift and it would show Gaga how much he admires and respects her craft and artistry.

However, I find it very odd that The Fame + The Fame Monster + Born This Way + ARTPOP would only be worth $50M? These are some of the biggest albums this century, I think they would be worth more.

It’s pretty abnormal tbf because usually producers do just that; produce a record but Nadir (RedOne) is credited in ALL the instrumentation (keyboards, synths, bass, guitars etc) on all their songs as well as a songwriter and in some cases an engineer too. This is why she was treated like a money making machine back in the day and people would jump at the chance to work with her on music because she was handing out credits left and right for no reason. RedOne even said he didn’t deserve his writing credits on JD or BR because he simply made melodic and phonetic suggestions such as the rah rah part on bad romance and she gave him a credit. 

This is why on Mayhem her name appears first on both singer, songwriter AND producer credits because it means she has a higher percentage of the profits.

It’s true, based on a percentage split I worked out he owns 7% of Bad Romance but she only owns 6%, he would be even with her if she didn’t give him a writing credit.

Again, I said, "It's not about praising him, it's about the weird, parasocial comments that I see all the time about him." This is very true, however, Gaga was always generous in giving credit to people who contributed very little

RedOne admitted that Gaga wrote Bad Romance essentially by herself (which is a mind-blowing achievement). But she still chose to give RedOne songwriting credits as he was in the room with her and he gave the idea of singing the oohhhohhh in the chorus

Oh yeah and because of that he has a higher percentage split of the money the song makes by literally a percent, so because of that he probably makes more money off it than Gaga does
