princedeeblebleble 2,569
It's a really good album! but i kinda wonder how it sounds on the film itself can't imagine these songs on kind of a modernised period film
xcx 1,245
SOOOOO GOOD. WOW. She leaves me gagged every single time. I think there are multiple discography standouts here: house, wall of sound, always everywhere, & funny mouth. The only song that hasn’t really caught me is my reminder 1

Chesescake 4,069
The album is less dark and experimental than I thought based on the impression of House. It's pretty digestible.

I do find the concept of a companion album really interesting for a film. I wouldn't want to exaggerate Harlequin's impact in this fairly new trend, but... it's kinda interesting that companion albums are now becoming a thing.

I did think of one of the Hunger Games soundtracks that was curated by Lorde, though it involved many different artists. Other examples I thought of felt more like compilations. I guess I was thinking specifically of soundtracks being more of character studies than a collection of songs merely featured in a film. I don't know if I'm making sense. 3

Roughhouse Dandy 12,657
Album f*cks but pales in comparison to House with John Cale. Still great! The pieces that made it into the film worked very well for the most part, but I do wish they cut back on her "oooooh"'s for the score lol that took me out of the fantasy a few times This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
