I want this to be a new era, when Gaga heals from ARTPOP and it's a new phase. Acceptance, healing, and strength. Madeon would fit in very well, even if it was supposed to be industrial rock like in MAYHEM (Perfect Celebrity, Disease).

ARTPOP dropped in 2013, at this time witch house, edm and trap were very popular but Gaga infused in it her originality and her gimmicks...

In 2026 we listen to hyperpop, phonk and these kind of music in term of electro music... It would make more sense to make an hyperpop album.

It will be an album fully exploring the sounds she delivered on Killah. Y'all just got to assume what's coming next. Not because I want to but because she already hinted at that. 

On release week - I don't remember which interview - she said Killah felt and still does feel like "next level Gaga" and, if she were to follow any sound on MAYHEM, she'd love to explore way more what she did with Gesaffelstein on Killah. Also the fact that the Abracadabra mix for the Grammys - engineered by her - follows the same path on that said track

Screw ARTPOP, I want Mayhem 2.0.

Fans have ARTPOP on a pedestal when it's an album that was changed a lot by her manager to the point she and Paul almost quit making music. Mayhem on the other hand comes from the best place and another creative peak with a great team.

ARTPOP was pain in rage exploding in edm

while chromatica was pain in sadness and void exploding in dance music

People in this thread are working overtime to not understand what 'spiritual successor' means.

 

I know what you're getting at, she's gonna crank it to 11 with the hard industrial edm rock pop opera.

Imagine her not giving a **** and making something really 'out there' with her current discipline and better than ever skills.
