I can see why Taylor does since being a famously successful pop star is her whole thing. But I like that Gaga’s team doesn’t try for numbers in the same sense. Abracadabra, for example, could have had a much higher peak if released on a different week. But the song was still every bit as iconic without it. Tbf, the physicals were quite late with DWAS. They clearly weren't prepared for them to be released, and any label will push a single doing as well as DWAS did.
