Taumaturg0 1,204
So... If it wasn't for the MV adn the JWT vocals, I wouldn't really care about Alenjandro that much... It's one of the few Gaga songs that feel a bit dated to me, it's still a good song, but it doesn't do much for me without that context. I wouldn't mind it being retired form tours either tbch. Abra on the other hand, is just THAT song, I put it at the same level as BR in Gaga's discograhpy.

princedeeblebleble 2,703
I was never an Alejandro fan, the video is amazing and some of the live preformances really gave it life, but Abra is in every possible aspect a better song.
bim 773
Objectively, Abra. Subjectively, I’m unable to choose. There’s something very magical about Alejandro for me and attached to a lot of beautiful memories/feelings, even hard ones. Her vocals at Lollapalooza and JWT, the video, that part of TMB 2.0. Oye. Bring back a violinist on tour tbh.

Abra feels pretty straightforward in terms of alchemizing pain and having the will to persevere through challenges.

Both songs are a lyrical mishmash for me lol

artd0me 819
Alejandro is the song that turned me from a casual listener into a LM… but Abracadabra is such a highlight as well… I don’t wanna choose
